Answer: No, that should not be the case. Even a 14-year-old weighing 120 pounds has no issue opening and closing this knife. -

Answer: Buck USA is a USA company, so stamping that on it does not mean it’s MADE in the USA. Some Bucks are imported, others the parts are imported but they are ASSEMBLED in the USA, and others are manufactured and assembled in the USA. Look for the American flag on the box for the third category and check the language used carefully. -

Answer: No, this is not technically an assisted opening knife. A thumb stud on the blade ensures smooth one hand deployment. Mid Lockback design provides maximum strength and safety. -
