Answer: You can pull them tight, and cut off the excess. I cut almost every one I ever use to length. -

Answer: I have not used these outdoors yet but they work great indoors and for PC projects. -

Are the 6 inch 18lbs or 40lbs tensile strength?
Answer: You will have to answer the manufacturer. I installed mine many months ago so have no packaging. I am not using them for strength but because I live in the hot desert and nylon ties do not hold up to the sun/heat. These are working great! -

Where are they made?
Answer: I don’t know; I would suspect China because of the very, very inferior quality of the product. DO NOT BUY THESE!!! -

How thick are they? I need to know if they will fit through the cable tie mounts I have on hand.
Answer: It depends on the strength of them. The 200-pound ones are going to be much thicker and wider than an 18-pound tie. -

Is the entire tie grooved? If not, how many inches 'in' do the grooves begin? Or in other words, is there a minimum size / circumference?
Answer: Can you connect more than one tie together? -

Does it hold heat resistant on automotive vehicle?
Answer: I'm no expert but my guess is no. These are regular plastic I'd assume they'd melt.
