While it claims to work on a 1-1/2" pipe, customers have reported that it is effective only for pipes up to 1" in diameter. The tool has different levels of effectiveness on various materials such as copper and PVC. The blade quality isn't the best and hence requires more effort on copper. However, for PVC, the reaming process is effortless. The cutters cannot be replaced, so if the blades go dull, the tool needs to be replaced.
