Bones Wheels Editorial Review
The Bones Wheels X99 X-Formula 99A Skateboard Wheels have garnered a positive reception among users, particularly for their performance in skate parks. Reviewers Consistently commend the wheels for their combination of fast rolling speed and a soft feel, making them an ideal choice for both casual skaters and those looking to enhance their tricks. Many users note that while the wheels are soft, they have enough hardness to enable sliding, which adds to their versatility. Several customers have gifted these wheels to their children or grandchildren, emphasizing the joy they brought as birthday or Christmas presents. This suggests a strong sentimental appeal connected to the product’s popularity among younger skaters. In terms of performance, some reviewers compare the X99 formula favorably against previous versions, like the X97 and 93 Dragons, noting that they stay functional even after wear. However, a few users reported some durability issues, with a few chunks coming off shortly after purchase, though they acknowledged that the wheels continued to perform well despite this. Conversely, not every skater is enamored with the softness of the wheels—one user mentioned preferring harder options like Spitfires or Dragons instead. Overall, the Bones Wheels X99 X-Formula 99A are celebrated for their balance of speed, softness, and versatility, making them a strong addition for skate enthusiasts, especially in park settings. **
