Chicago Metallic Sheet Pan is a sturdy, aluminized baking sheet with size dimensions of 17 5/8 inches in length, and 12 13/16 inches wide. It is resistant to warping up to a temperature of 450 degrees, and it is aluminum-coated over steel, not stainless steel. The pan's internal measurements are approximately 14 by 10 inches. However, due to its rounded corners, a perfectly rectangular mat may require trimming to fit the pan. Since 8/17/15, two dots of glue have been used to fix the labels to the pan. The glue leaves no residue, and it is similar to Zots. The majority of customers believe this sheet pan cooks food evenly, is of excellent quality, and is ideal for baking pumpkin rolls and sheet pan meals. However, a few of them have had issues with the product. Some items cooked on the pan are stuck despite using wax paper, and one pan arrived dented, which the customer found strange because it was heavily coated with aluminum. Another customer complained that the pan's metal began to transfer to their food after being used five times, according to their observations. The pan came with a thin layer of glue-like residue that was difficult to remove, and it appears to have been applied to the cooking surface, which is puzzling. Use of the pan by another reviewer will be limited to catching rendered fat on their kamado smoker as the glue on the surface makes it unusable for food preparation.
