Answer: Nope. With your hand inside the body and fingers in the two front paws you can moves the arms around and the head a little bit. The mouth does not open. (My dog absolutely loves when we play wrestle with this puppet. It's his favorite!) -

Can the front paws hold things?
Answer: It is a hand puppet so when your hand is inside you can use your thumb and fingers (which are in the front paws) to grab something large, like another stuffed animal. But you can't grab or hold anything small. It's very fun to play with--our dog flips out when we 'puppet wrestle' with him! It's his favorite toy!! -

Could this puppet work for ventriloquism?
Answer: I am not sure how to respond, but from what I remember the mouth moves just fine. This is a very realistic puppet, and we loved it when we bought this years and years ago. -

Does it look like the picture?
Answer: Mine looks much like the picture.....big round belly ...same color...but the fur seems a little wilder...shading the eyes. Can move the paws but not the tail. Not grumpy looking. Fur is straw like or wiry....hard to manipulate the 4 paws....not my favorite folkmanis puppet. Love the rabbits! -

Machine washable or..?
Answer: You can wipe the surface with a damp cloth, but it is not machine washable. The manufacturer does not recommend that for any of its puppets. -

Does it come with sardines?
Answer: It was supposed to have come with both sardines and a chicken leg. But when the package arrived, neither was there. I wonder where they could have gone...?
