The Officemate Prong Paper Fasteners are two-piece prong fasteners made from corrosion-resistant steel that are perfect for organizing documents in folders. They are designed for 2-hole punched paper and have a space of 2 3/4" between the centers of the two holes. They come in a box of 50 complete sets, and each set can fasten about 150-200 pages. Customer Experience: Customers who have used these fasteners have mixed feedback. Some found them to work very well, and they were able to organize their documents without any issues. However, some others found the tops (compressors) slide fine until they put them onto the stack of papers, after which they wouldn't slide at all. They experienced difficulty in maneuvering the fasteners and had to force them to the left and right. Some even used a letter opener as a tool to try and slide them, but it didn't work. However, some customers were happy with the material and found them great for organizing their documents, even more than 300 sheets, while others thought they were not substantial enough and might look into something more substantial or a rigid folder with the stiff fastener already attached. Customers have noted that these fasteners are made in China.
