Aquarian Tom-Tom Drumheads RSP2-C Editorial Review
The Aquarian Drumheads, specifically the RSP2-C model, have garnered a mixed reception, but generally shine in several key aspects that appeal to drummers aiming for quality sound in varied performance settings. Most users commend their exceptional sound quality, noting the "bong" tone they produce when tuned correctly, which fits perfectly in live performances whether for weddings, birthday parties, or corporate events. Drummers faced with balancing performance and aesthetics appreciate the versatility these heads provide. The durability of the Construction has also been highlighted, with one user reporting that they’ve remained locked in tune for over a month, indicating reliability during extended play. Users have praised the attack and fullness of sound even when the heads are played without resonant counterparts. A common theme in reviews is that these heads enhance the overall drumming experience, with many stating they feel like better drummers due to the heads’ responsive nature. However, not all feedback is positive—there are reports of durability issues, particularly with the heads failing under physical stress, leading to mixed experiences. Some users have encountered sound muting with smaller toms and dissatisfaction with performance on snare drums, suggesting a variance in application effectiveness. Overall, those who have had successful experiences with the Aquarian RSP2-C recommend them for their wide-ranging sound quality and dynamic presence in live settings, despite cautioning potential users about durability and specific applications. **
