The Shoei CWR-1 Silver Mirror Face Shield is a great alternative to the more expensive Shoei original face shield. It fits perfectly on Shoei RF-1200, Shoei X-14 and Shoei RF-SR helmets. The darkest tint is not very dark, but works well on a bright day. The shield is easy to install and looks like a factory product. However, there were some issues with fitting the pinlock, which was off by 1-2mm causing a ripple on the insert. The mounting points for the optional anti-fog lens are also too short, which causes a small lip near the mounting point. It is not recommended for nighttime use but works well in the daytime. It is cheaper than the Shoei original and is of great quality.
