This Hiland Road Bike is a great option for beginners, as it is lightweight and feels sturdy and rides smoothly. However, the downside is that there is not enough room on the handlebars for a street light, and the tires work only on fine gravel which can be slightly uncomfortable. Assembly is reported as being fine and most of it is already done out of the box, but it is recommended to take it to a bike shop for expert assembly to avoid any issues. There have been reports of missing screws, scratched paint, and issues with the shift levers. Overall, this is a decent value road bike, but be aware of these issues and if they are of concern, perhaps go for a more dependable name-brand option.
