The Strike Industries 1911 Torx Grip Slimline Screws with Black Zinc Coating x4 pcs are designed to fit slim profile grips. Made in Taiwan and designed in California, these screws are suitable for full-frame 1911s, including Springfield. The screws work well with brands like VZ and Cool Hand, which produce slim grips. If necessary, bushings can be used with these screws to fit on Taurus 1911s. However, they are not suitable for Kimber Ultra TLE with factory laser grips. Customer feedback on the product is mixed. Some customers found them to be of great quality and effectiveness, giving them five stars. However, several customers reported the screws stripped very easily, leaving sharp pieces of metal protruding out, and noted that the screws broke off during tightening, resulting in difficulty removing the grip panel or damage to the grip screw bushings. A few customers commented on getting a replacement from the seller and said the screws look good, but the head snaps off even with little pressure. Overall, there is no Consensus on the durability of the screws. Some customers received new sets from the manufacturers after breakages. However, customers report the weaknesses in the steel used indicate a lack of product quality.
