Wald Panniers & Rack Trunks W157B Editorial Review
The Wald 157 Giant Delivery Basket offers a large and sturdy storage solution for your bike. With dimensions of 21x15x9 inches, it lives up to its name and provides ample space for carrying items such as groceries, beach gear, or even a small dog. One of the standout features of this basket is its durability. Customers have praised its robust Construction and ability to withstand heavy loads. It adds an extra "hardiness" to the bike, particularly for those with already sturdy frames. However, the method of attachment is a slight drawback. The basket uses clamps that go over the handlebars to secure it in place, which may not be the most convenient option for some users. There have been suggestions to include alternative mounting options such as directly attaching to the front fork frame. In terms of aesthetics, opinions seem to vary. Some customers feel that the basket doesn't take away from the overall look of the bike, especially when used for carrying small cooler or beach items. However, others mention that the size and weight of the basket can make it difficult to balance the bike when parking. Overall, the Wald 157 Giant Delivery Basket proves to be a functional and reliable accessory for bike storage needs. With its generous size and sturdy build, it is suitable for a variety of uses.
