Farnam Fly Repellents 3005682 Editorial Review
Farnam Bronco Gold Horse Fly Spray The Farnam Bronco Gold Horse Fly Spray is an oil-based product designed to repel flies and insects from horses. It also doubles as a grooming aid and coat conditioner. While some customers have had positive experiences with this product, there have been several reports of negative reactions and side effects. One customer mentioned that all of their horses developed painful hives after using the spray for a few days. Another customer warned against using the spray on dogs, as it caused hives and chemical burns on their horses. Additionally, the spray has a tendency to leave an oily residue that picks up dirt, making it less suitable for dogs as well. In terms of its usage in yards and patio areas, it is stated that the spray may stain fabric chairs and umbrellas due to its oil content. It may also coat yard plants, making them harder to soak up water. Although it is possible to use the spray for this purpose, it is deemed expensive, according to one customer. Despite the negative experiences noted above, there were also positive reviews. Some customers mentioned that the spray is long-lasting and effective, especially compared to water-based fly sprays. One customer noted that they had been using the spray for years without any issues, except for one horse that had a reaction when a large amount was applied in one spot. The spray was also praised for its reasonable price and value. Overall, the reception of the Farnam Bronco Gold Horse Fly Spray is mixed. While some customers have had success using it on their horses, others have experienced negative reactions and side effects. It is important for horse owners to carefully monitor their horses for any adverse reactions when using this product.
