    Answer: The rods are made from lightweight and powerful graphite, featuring aluminum oxide guides.
  • Question: Will the 9 ft heavy action moderate taper 1/2-1 1/2 oz rated salmon rod work for striper up to 20 pounds?

    Answer: Actually it depends. Where I striper fish below dams, I regularly sling 5”-7” swim baits on 3oz jig heads up to 100 yards. This rod wouldn’t work for me.
  • Question: Does this product work?

    Answer: Yes. Good product for the price. I have more expensive Shimano rods but this has held up well.
  • Question: What are the handle lengths above and below the reel seat, and the line test pound?

    Answer: The rod handle is 2 & 3/4 inches above the reel seat and 13 inches below the reel seat. Line wt = 10-30 lbs Lure wt = 1/2 to 1 & 1/2 ounces Power = Heavy Action = Moderate
  • Question: Can I throw a 2 oz weight

    Answer: It can throw 2oz. I have but it isn't rated to 2oz. It's rated to 1.5oz. I just wouldn't fully unload full force at that weight. Otherwise good pole imo.
